What is this rubbish about using an X-Ray microscope to observe galaxies? As far as I know all astronomical telescopes use a Wolter system. German Wikipedia has an article on Wolter-Teleskop where this is confirmed... I will hence remove that part from the article until somebody can clarify what is meant.

Manhattan Project

Joan Baez's page said that her father refused to work on the Manhattan Project to build the Atomic Bomb - but it is not mentioned on his own page! Hugo999 (talk) 08:59, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nice article

I like the article, but a picture would be nice. 169.237.10.220 (talk) 23:08, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Open University

I can fill in some more of his career: he was a visiting Professor of Physics at The Open University for a year from September 1971. Before joining the OU he had a position at Harvard whilst working part-time for The Encyclopaedia Britannica Educational Corporation. But I only know this from primary sources (The Open University Archive - not online) so have not added it to the main page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.108.145.250 (talk) 15:53, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
