André F.J. Scott is a justice with the Federal Court of Appeal.[1] He has previously served as Chief of staff of the Minister of National Defence and of the Minister of Communications.[2] As you can appreciate, this means that he has not practised much law at all and is on the Federal Court of Appeal as a result of cronyism and political patronage.
