Lufthansa Systems AG is an information technology service provider for the aviation industry. It has around 3,000 employees in several locations in Germany and offices in 14 other countries and is headquartered in Kelsterbach near Frankfurt.

Its portfolio addresses all airline business processes and includes services for planning, passenger and cargo management, finance, flight operations, and aircraft maintenance and repair. As a system integrator with one of the most state-of-the-art data centers in Europe, Lufthansa Systems covers the entire spectrum of IT services including consulting, application development and implementation, and reliable 24-hour operation.

History

In 1995, Lufthansa Systems (LIDO) was established to turn the Lufthansa Group's IT department into a legally independent company.
