Hi. I started contributing to Wikipedia using this name on the 25th of January, 2005. I had previously made some contributions without an account. I am also a contributor to the Japanese Wikipedia, though I don't do much.

I am a University of Limerick alumnus, currently working as an IT systems engineer. I have interests in electronics and computing, video and audio technology, cars, some aspects of japanese popular culture, and video games.

The first article I created from scratch was the one on Sony's Professional Disc format (originally titled Professional Disc for DATA), created on the 18th June 2005. I'm sure it was terrible, and it's still severely lacking in citations (did citations even exist in 2005? I don't remember my sources either way), but it's nice to see it still exists.
