USS Nebraska

The current USS Nebraska (SSBN 739) is an Ohio-class fleet ballistic missile submarine. A United States naval vessel, it is named for the State of Nebraska. It was made by the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics Corporation, Groton, Connecticut. It is imortalized in the book "Big Red" By Douglas C. Walker.
