Team Snagem

Team Snagem is a front for the main enemy team in Pokémon Colosseum, an RPG for the Nintendo GameCube. Its leader is Gonzap. It partnered with Cipher to take over the world using Shadow Pokemon, engineered from Pokémon snagged from their trainers by means of Snag Machines supplied by Cipher. The main character, Wes, steals a Snag Machine from them in the beginning of the game.

In Pokemon XD, Team Snagem is almost forgotten by the general public (except where it pertains to Wes's origins) and is resentful towards Cipher for using them in Colosseum. They steal Micheal's Snag Machine as he is leaving the abandoned SS Libra, resulting in a plot extension where he has to follow them to their hideout to reclaim it. After Micheal defeats Gonzap, he returns the snag machine (as it didn't fit the bulky man's arm anyway). Team Snagem then reappears at the Cipher Key Lair, where they incapacitate the guards (saving Micheal some time). Gonzap tells Micheal that he will be their main enemy after Team Snagem is back to it's former glory, but much later admits that the boy is way beyond Snagem.
