Fort Pyl or Fort Pass Pyl[1] was a small fort in the Elephant Pass Fort areas, which is narrow part of the Jaffna peninsula. Fort was located linearly with other two fort such as Elephant Pass Fort and Fort Pass Pyl in order to protect Jaffna peninsula from attacks originating in the mainland.[2]

The square-shaped fort built as similar to Elephant Pass Fort and Fort Pyl. It was completely destroyed and nothing found today.[3]
