Liza Japaridze (Georgian: ლიზა ჯაფარიძე; born 19 September 2003), better known by her stage name Lizi Pop (Georgian: ლიზი პოპი) is a Georgian child singer, she will represent Georgia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta with the song "Happy Day".^[1]

Liza Japaridze was born on September 19, 2003. She studies at the Georgian- American school. She can speak three foreign languages: English, Russian and Africaans. She also loves sports and is 5th green belt holder in Karate.

" Well we know that lizi has no chances, but we "believe" in her, we support her as well as we can, before she starts singing or before she has to pose, but every tim, every time ( mother begins to cry) she fails. her voice is not as good as it is when she records her songs with computer editing and in Eurovision she only got onto the 11th place out of 16 places. But still we tell her that she can do whatever she wants, we flew all the way to Malta, we record all the songs, we get her special attention and her own servant but still she does not do as we expect her to do. but we still support her!"

Personal life

in her last interview she said that she is a ""living girl"". She said that she s interested in her ethnicity, because she wants to know if she is form the royal family. ""i want to rule the world"" she says. My parents told me that i will be the best. Now she is dating a boy called Lorenzo from her class.

Free time

Lizi has tattoo of the snake on her hand of course it is temporary but soon, in April she is allowed to get a permanent tattoo. " Sure, why not?' her parents said in the tattoo issue,' She has been wanting this tatto since she was 4, and now we allow her to get it since she is already 10. She likes to party. On parties she sais she likes to sing her songs over and over again, 'people have to listen to me, my songs are amazing and if they dont my mother can make them slaves and make them work in our pink mansions.

Carrer

Since 2011, she actively studies vocals in the BzikebiStudio lead by Giga Kukhianidze whose songs represented Georgia at Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC) 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. At JESC Lizi Pop will perform toghether with Sopho Dashniani (10 years old) , Dea Dashniani (11 years old) (sisters of Nini Dashniani from Fun Kids), Kate Arbolishvili (12 years old) and Nita Lomidze (11 years old) as her backing vocalists/ dancers. Lizi has already released several hit singles, such as “Make up”, “Cloud” and New year song “Zgapari qalaqshi” with winners of JESC 2011 Candy. She has also starred in Bzikebi Studio musical film “Stapilo Story. Kurdgheli vs Mgeli”, performing role of one of the rabbits. She has been joined by Dea and Sopho Dashniani as rabbits in this musical movie as well.
