Acquisitions
Chase Research was a UK based company providing network connectivity and remote access products for communications between PCs/servers and peripheral devices, particularly in the Linux space. Perle Systems acquired Chase Research in the year 2000.
On April 1, 2002, Perle Systems's common shares were delisted from the Nasdaq Stock Market and became eligible to trade on the Over The Counter Bulletin Board ("OTCBB"). On October 7, 2003, the company went private under a deal with its major creditor, Royal Capital Management Inc.
