Vinita Devi Tope's Social Service League (also known as SSL) is one of the most distinguished student organizations of Government Law College, Mumbai. The league was formed in 1967 by then Principal Dr. T. K. Tope, in the fond memory of his wife, late Smt. Vinitadevi Tope.

Rooted in the pursuit of social justice, the strategies of the league are oriented towards making lives better. This is primarily achieved by tie-ups and associations with the government as well as non-profit organizations, apart from several initiatives individually taken up by the league members. In addition to its flagship events Shikhar and Udaan, the league undertakes several projects such as tree plantation drives, clean up drives, donation drives for flood victims etc.[1][2]
