The 57th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 8, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The show will be broadcast live by CBS. It is not yet known who will host the ceremony, In all, 83 Grammy Awards will be presented, up one compared to 2014.

Pre-telecast ceremony

Not all Grammys will be presented during the live telecast. As in previous years, most awards will be handed out during the so-called pre-telecast ceremony, held at the Nokia Theater next to the Staples Center. This ceremony takes place during the afternoon before the main show. From 2015, this ceremony will be known as the Premiere Ceremony.[1] Approximately 70 Grammys will be presented at this ceremony.

Nominations

The eligibility period for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards was October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014.[2] The nominees will be announced on December 5, 2014. The Album of the Year nominees will be announced during a special Christmas-themed Grammy TV show to be broadcast on the same day.[3]
