Ink & Dagger
Band
Ink & Dagger is an influential band from Philadelphia with members of The Mandela Strike Force and Frail playing gothic progressive bone-chilling hardcore. Ink and Dagger were best known for perfecting a form of melodic hardcore. Their live stage shows consisted of scented candles, vampire face paint, strobe lighting, and black attire. Their cult following of macabre devotees (also known as fans) would adorn themselves during shows (and outside of shows for some of the truly faithful) in a similar fashion as the band (face paint, vampire garb, etc.). The members were infrequently seen in the daylight, and roamed the night searching for their next 'bloodlust' and 'ladyloves'. The whereabouts of the band members is currently not known. Most of their records were recorded in the Chillfactor Dungeon, which is located somewhere in the greater Philadelphia area. After Ink and Dagger's vocalist died in a manner which wasn't made public, the group decided to release what they had done on their third album and disband.
