Third child

Is she still pregnant? If so, when is the baby due to be born? Werdnawerdna (talk) 22:10, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Born October 2008. Jim Michael (talk) 07:22, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've seen several articles which compare her to a younger Meryl Streep, both in her physical appearance and acting style. Has she ever responded to this in interviews? 76.243.178.115 (talk) 02:01, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Surname

Her birth name was Taylor, her mother remarried to a man named Greenslade, and she herself married a man named Kelly. Where did the surname "McElhone" come from? JamesMLane t c 22:13, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mother's maiden name. Jim Michael (talk) 07:22, 28 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality

Her parents are both Irish and she was born in England. For fairness' sake, she should be listed as British; if she's listed as English, it's a blatant disregard for her birth identity. Hearfourmewesique (talk) 18:49, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Birth

She's on "My life in Books" on BBC2 at the moment and Anne Robinson has just said that she was born in 71. How reliable is the reference for 69? Will Bradshaw (talk) 18:42, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've looked at the cited source (http://www.ancestry.com), and I'm not sure if it is reliable a reliable source. It looks like the site allows anyone to submit content. Klilidiplomus+Talk 19:02, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done, see page history. Hearfourmewesique (talk) 20:59, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
People keep changing the DOB. Of the four references currently given, one simply isn't a reference and one is a bit dead, the remaining two are relatively inaccessible, I don't know what the book says but going by my previous comment, the TV program said '71 so I'm going to revert it back to 23/3/71. Could someone try to find some more reliable references? Will Bradshaw (talk) 20:48, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Right, I’ve been having a look at this, myself: having noticed Ms McElhone’s listed on the Wikipedia article for 14th December. The reference from her book lists the 1971 date. Her IMDb entry gives 23rd March, 1969! What’s going on? Cuddy2977 (talk) 15:00, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
IMDB currently gives 14th December 69. I've just looked at the book reference, the book is readable, I don't think it was before. It clearly states for Wednesday 17th December "It was my birthday on Sunday", ie the 14th, I can't find the year though. The "about the author" section, the reference given, isn't available, what do you mean by "the 1971 date"? It doesn't give the article's current date of 23rd March 71, does it?. Even if it does, 14th December was given by McElhone herself, rather than the publisher, so I'd say based on that and My Life in Books, we should go with 14th December 1971 I'll change both articles accordingly. Natascha/Natasha

Can't we agree on one spelling within the article?
