Jaidev/Andy

As per this source an actor named Andy acted as Marthanda Varma. Is there any reference for Jaidev? --Vssun (talk) 09:40, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The the names of cast were given with reference to the data available form the website of National Film Archive of India , 'Andy' could be the real-name of the artist, kindly verify before making any changes, please do revert the change made in ml:മാര്‍ത്താണ്ഡവര്‍മ്മ (മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രം), if found otherwise, thanks. Cast – change in the entries

The confusion in the cast of Marthanda Varma still stands, whether its Aandi or Jaidev, The casting information is re-written without confirming on the actor. The name Jaidev still stands as this is mentioned in the cast information provided by NFAI, where the film is reportedly preserved. This is the only official information available as of today, however the possibility of reconfirming the same with NFAI is doubtful due to the recent happenings at NFAI.[1]

There is another conflict in the casting of character mentioned in the link suggested by Vssun here and Raziman t v in Malayalam Wikipedia, all that are mentioned in the new text.

Infobox maintains only the cast information from NFAI. The information covered in the new text are cited in the reference pages, reference citation is kept away from the Infobox so as to give a neat look, but all the information are covered in the altered text of the article. Also the broken links are also removed to give a pleasant look.

I hope the new changes does not go against the interest of Wikipedia, if otherwise kindly do intimate for the required changes as applicable.
