Hi. I removed all dead links within the article, of which there were many. I'm unsure as to why this had not been done by editors watching the page? References should be checked regularly.

A number of statements within the article are completely unfounded. You can revert my changes if you like and then I'll add in 'Citation Needed' throughout the article to illustrate the number of references that are missing. If there are statements without references then they must be deleted. This article attracts a number of politically motivated editors, the article must remain neutral and meet Wikipedia's guidelines Biggleswiki (talk) 10:38, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Hong Leong Bank logo.gif

Thanks for uploading File:Hong Leong Bank logo.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Meet-up: Editors from Malaysia

Hello! You might or might not have seen me around here as I've not been active in Wikipedia the past few months. Before leaving for NS, it was my intention to form a Malaysian user group. I'm still very much interested in forming the group. However, before forming the group, I would love to organize a meet-up between editors of the Malaysian editing community to test the waters and hear what you guys might have to say. To my knowledge, there has not been a Wikipedia meet-up in this country before. I don't mind organizing the meet-up but need to know if anyone is interested in joining the meet-up. So... please reply and let me know if you would be interested in joining a meet-up and your ideas/thoughts about a user group. Thank you.

Looking forward to hearing from you, Bejinhantalks 12:25, 15 December 2012 (UTC) (Message delivered by EdwardsBot (talk) 12:25, 15 December 2012 (UTC))[reply]

We noticed though that when you edited Abdul Taib Mahmud, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Istana Negara (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Sabah and Sarawak

You know, the whole contention and dispute here would be better written in a proper section at History of Malaysia than dotted around all over the place. I've suggested this before. I think it deserves proper coverage, rather than socks edit warring and getting reverted etc. Maybe we can work something up over time that describes the situation properly? It's a shame it isn't represented properly because of all the edit-warring and socking by "activists" over time. There's a proper story to tell, encyclopedically. Let me know what you think. Begoontalk 16:45, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your suggestion. What I planning to do is to discuss every point in the 20 point agreement, so that the readers can always refer back to the original wordings of the agreement from time to time. So, I put the discussion under the wikipage of 20 point agreement instead of History of Malaysia. Do let me know what you think.Cerevisae (talk) 16:58, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure how that would work. The article is supposed to be just a brief description of the agreement, summarising the points. See the history before, where we rescued it from being a WP:COATRACK for every dissenting view. It turned into a terrible mess. I'm really concerned it shouldn't become that again. Plus - nobody really looks at it. A well crafted section at the History page would be more visible, and allow the whole subject to be discussed properly. Maybe your idea could work, though - I think it would need to be kept very concise and brief at that article. Begoontalk 17:20, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. I accept your suggestion. Could you move the "Controversies" section to History of Malaysia or to Sandbox so that I can get a general idea on how you are going to do about it? I shall develop the section when I am free.Cerevisae (talk) 17:41, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
No rush. I'll have a think about it over the next day or so. A sandbox sounds good, because I'll need your input (and others). We can leave it where it is for now, no harm. Begoontalk 17:47, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 20-point agreement, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Malaya. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Belarus

Please don't make edits about something you obviously know nothing about.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.121.87.100 (talk) 17:40, 20 December 2014

Thanks for your comment. I am only doing my job as pending changes reviewer. I would be glad that if you can enlighten me on why the Russian wikipage about Belarus is titled as "Белоруссия"? Regards.Cerevisae (talk) 23:20, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome. The situation is a bit complicated. In Russian, "Беларусь" and "Белоруссия" are both acceptable (most of Belarusians prefer the first one and most of Russians prefer the second one); however, "Республика Беларусь" is the official country's name. In some official documents it is stated that one variation is correct, in others it is the other way around. Some Belarusians take offense when Russians call their country "Белоруссия" for various reasons. There was a long discussion about it it in Ruwiki, and the article was renamed to "Беларусь", but not for too long. I guess that is because the population of Russia is more than 14 times bigger than the population of Belarus, so there are more Russian admins of course :D — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.121.148.140 (talk) 15:32, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
