Blacknorth is an animation and VFX studio based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was founded in 2009 by Kris Kelly and Evelyn McGrath. Evelyn left in 2012 to pursue a new career path with Dark Optic. The studio, whilst still in its infancy, has been the recipient of numerous awards including: BAFTA, International Emmy, RTS, Don Quixote Prize, Dark Light Award, amongst others.
