Black Belt

there's no such thing as a 12th degree black belt. black belts only go up to 10. Someone should change it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.212.43.75 (talk) 03:41, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name Change?

I happened to notice Bischoff's name was changed to Aaron Eric Bischoff. What gives? Chrissytina515 (talk) 06:10, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion

Badly written at the end. Someone should look at this article :|

Edited last part

Did so with best of my efforts, and included some new information

Actually, shouldn't we put his special guest referee stint on this page? He got retaliated by DX Hmsrenown 17:30, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trial of Eric Bischoff

I think that there should be a seperate article of the "trial" where all the details are written. Can anyone follow up on this?

eugen

why not talk about his fude with eugen sorry i cant spell lol

1957 or 1955

When was he born?

1955

In a wwe interview he says that his birthday is in december of 1957!! Should I change the May 27 to december 1957?[1]Urena198 00:21, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Eric Bischoff once ridiculed Wikipedia for posting uncorrected information on him, stating his false birth date used on the Wikipedia page during the early stages of Wikipedia article on Bischoff. The statement was said by Eric Bischoff on a WWE interview segment and aired on RAW. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.247.65.233 (talk) 07:23, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So little WWE stuff?

I think more WWE stuff should be put back here. He did way more than what's being represented in the WWE section.

Actually, there should be alot more in the WCW section.

Hey, look! Bischoff just mentioned Wikipedia in his WWE.com interview! Look! Squeal! </parody of too many Wikipedians> Morgan Wick 20:40, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

corrections by bischoff himself

Bischoff mentioned his Wikipedia entry and cited some facts on there that are wrong. Can someone make sure it's fixed? [2] Romis 20:55, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article sucks

http://www.wwe.com/content/media/video/superstars/eirc_bischoff/jbl_interview/bischoffexclusive4_

Bischoff himself mentioned this article to show just how full of shit most of the stuff about him on the Internet is. I'd say this whole thing probably needs to be rewritten. 205.166.61.142 02:23, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yea that was pretty sad. people shouldn't edit or make pages using info they cant verify as real.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.176.53.33 (talkcontribs)

Heh Heh, Wikipwned...

In his blog (linked to on this very article), he points out even MORE of these mistakes. He didn't mow Verne Gagne's lawn, didn't get promoted, wasn't a "gopher", etc. I doubt anything in this article is correct at this point.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.52.231.158 (talkcontribs)

Date of birth

In a recent newspaper article, he (Bischoff) was unhappy that his encyclopedia entry showed the wrong birth date which is 1957. Please refer from changing it unless you are Bischoff himself and if you are, identify yourself to let people know who you really are. For the time being, his birth date is 1957. Bischoff is a hero. He was a genious in the minds of buisness which is why he transformed wcw into a 300-million earning company a-year. ECW ECW ECW!!! :P —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.42.199.41 (talk) 14:21, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What The?

What happend to most of the article? Like Two weeks ago this article was pretty big now it's pretty small! I was able to restore some of it but the WCW portion is somewhere. I don't know where... if anybody can find it please restore it to it's best looking form. dady5000 3:28 PM PST, 24 October 2006 Dady5000

WCW Section

After rereading the first half of Controversy Creates Ca$h, this section needs some cleaning up. The book claims the Don Sandefeur resigned after Bob Dhue was fired, and Bob Dhue was not fired by Bischoff but by another Turner exec. Biscoff then took his place as VP. I haven't seen any other place where this is stated, but since the page doesn't source those statement either, they should be removed or changed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.14.222.187 (talk) 07:06, 9 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the source or proof from the statement that Bill Goldberg drew a $1,000,000 gate for three shows in December 98/January 99?

new wrestling company

I have a source [3]

that Bischoff is making a new Promotion with Hulk Hogan to compete with WWE J.C. (talk) 05:16, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The roumored wrestling company is the reality TV show: Hulk Hogans celebrity championship wrestling Realshompa (talk) 19:22, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wife swapping and Gold club incident?

Eric Bischoff is famous for swapping wife with Diamond Dallas Page. Something that has been mentioned many times on the radio program Between the ropes and written in the Wrestling Observer. Bischoffs legal trubbles regarding the Gold Club CNN Gold club should also get mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Realshompa (talkcontribs) 19:31, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Eric Bischoff signed with TNA

Don't know how legit this is, but if it's real, break out the champaign, the Monday Night Wars are coming back! http://www.wrestlinginc.com/news/wi/2009/1027/456050/eric-bischoff/index.shtml 65.43.96.3 (talk) 19:05, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AWA Tenure

There should be some mention of his tenure in AWA prior to WCW. However, I don't have any details on it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.138.105.106 (talk) 00:45, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kayfabe

Some of this article, particularly the TNA section is written in kayfabe (in-universe fictional point of view). These sections should be rewritten to reflect the actual bigraphy on Eric Bischoff, not the kayfabe character. nChanq (talk) 19:47, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree, I'm finding it impossible to tell what is actually true and what isn't. Particularly when it comes to his time with the WWE and the impact of his book. It seems to be rather hard to find correct information regarding a lot of people in the WWE Universe, probably due to the over-abundance of kayfabe.--68.111.242.222 (talk) 07:36, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Eric Bischoff

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Eric Bischoff's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
