The Cayman Civil War was fought from 2012-2013 , because of the attempted beheading of Carlos Mreeloo at Northward prison on 20 October 2012 by forces loyal to Ian Terry and Grace Gealey, and also because of the coup de ètat of the UDP government in December 2012 by Police associated with the rebel street gang Bodden Town's finest. The result was the defeat of the Rebel gang by the Tybee forces.
