WTMK (88.5 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Christian contemporary music format. Licensed to Lowell, Indiana, USA. The station is currently owned by Olivet Nazarene University.[1] This station also broadcasts the Lowell Senior High School Red Devils football games as an affiliate of the Regional Radio Sports Network.
History
The station went on the air with the callsign 980 417 ME on April 17, 1998; on December 26, 2002, the station changed its call sign to the current WTMK.[2] WTMK had previously aired a format of Christian talk and music and was owned by CSN International. Under CSN International's ownership, WTMK went by the branding "Calvary Radio". The station was sold to Olivet Nazarene University and began broadcasting the Christian contemporary music format known as Shine.fm on December 28, 2010. It is simulcast in Crown Point, IN on a translator station W240BJ 95.9 FM.
The owners of WTMK have a construction permit to move to Wanatah, Indiana. The new facility will broadcast with an ERP of 4 kW and a tower height of 102.8 meters above average terrain.
