(talk page stalker) It must be nice to be so popular Pvp... *sigh*... Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 19:11, 31 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi lol, if by being popular you mean having to endure a regular stream of abuse from a tin foil hat wearing troll, then i'd rather not be so "popular" . And if i haven't already, thank you for your help in stopping this latest bout of attacks. Pvpoodle (talk) 03:07, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Our mutual friend

I thought you might find this section on my talk page interesting, and possibly good for a laugh. Jsharpminor (talk) 09:50, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Heh heh, thanks for sharing, I missed that one. I don't know who the other ip is, almost felt bad for having to report him. I don't know whats funnier, the fact that Shulinjiang now seems to be denying that he is Chinese or the fact that he has been claiming right from the start that the rest of us were racist against Chinese for "spreading false propaganda against the chinese", when he got banned the first time around. let me look that up for you, as soon as im done requesting page prot for a couple of these articles. Pvpoodle (talk) 09:57, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@User:Jsharpminor Ok page prot requests are done. Not willing to risk 3RR even in the case of obvious vandalism like this. So as promised here are a few Gems from his earlier rants on Talk:CAIC Z-10 and His SPI

"I am Shulinjiang. I noticed Pvpoodle's anti-China and trolling behavior on the internet"

"He used three sources from western media with the exact contents to mock China's WZ-10 chopper, that the chopper is designed by Russia's Kamov, which means that the Chinese are stupid and brainless and not able to design on their own!! "

"The sources I posted are from Chinese official news media"

"Also, you are a lair! You are very anti-China. You spend hours and hours if not days on the internet just to spread rumors to mock other countries specially China"

"Unlike you, I have a decent job in USA and family, therefore do not have the time or need to troll like you!"

"If WZ-10 was indeed designed by Kamov, a Russian company, why would they post their pictures with English descriptions? Also, Pvpoodle's source cited pictures created in late 2000's, yet the source claimed that Kamov designed it in early 1990's. These inconstancies alone were enough to debunk his sources."

"The only prove from your groundless source was some picture drawn by Kamov and captioned in English! Why would a Russian military company publish their supposedly "design" work in the early 1990's in English using 21 century drawing software?"

"At last, Pvpoodle spends hours posting and editing on Wikipedia arguing with others and removing other people's sourced contents. Yet ironically when someone debunks him with more creditable source he call them vandalizes"

"Hello I am Jon. I just got off work and anticipated that there will be an editing war here on the page, and I was right. This edit war was started by Pvpoodle"

"Pvpoodle, I have editted the page in a more netural manner, I will accept your false claim, but also debunk them with proves and official sources. If you accept, we will leave it in peace. Thank you"

"Pvpoodle, you and I can come to an aggreement. I know you indians try your best to downplay China in any ways you can. But I have edited this just a little bit. See you agree with it !"

"Pvpoodle you are ITR, AKA Indian Race Troll, you troll on the internet because you indians can not accomplish anything. But the Chinese CAN !!!"

"In my finial conclusion, I debunked your claim once again."

Just becomes even more funnier when he goes around claiming my "Ingrish" is bad (He actually used "Ingrish", the derogatory way people make fun of the way Chinese immigrants speak. Unfortunately i think this Gem was redacted with some of the more offensive things he goes around claiming)

Pvpoodle, you are the one need to learn English ! You and you indian speak English with your silly accent

Hope you had a good laugh, i sure did :) Oh, and Seasons Greetings Pvpoodle (talk) 10:44, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What should we do about Tamlinwah? He's been doing this edit warring since November. In fact, all but two of his first edits involve removing reliable sources regarding Kamov's major [or should I say exclusive role] in the design of the helicopter. Take a look at the edits. He's not going to learn unless he gets a ban and he's carefully trying not to break the 3RR to avoid trouble. The only reason I started watching this page is to prevent any propaganda from being distributed here. Khazar (talk) 23:28, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Strike that. I just noticed that you reported that ecomaniac. Hopefully, he's gone for good soon. It's sad how revolutionary telling the truth is to some people. Happy New Year to you! Khazar (talk) 23:43, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Khazar Hi, i think Tamlinwah is a sockpuppet of Shulinjiang as i see the same kind of sino superiority pattern to his edits, without any regard for references which prove otherwise. However as this issue has been going on for more than 6 months now with vandalism by IP Socks, and as seen in the SPI there might not be enough evidence to result in a block. Tamlinwah only seems to come out when the page protection on the Z-10 article is up, and the IPs do most of the work the rest of the time.
With regards to what to do about Tamlinwah , might i suggest posting a request on the Edit Warring Noiceboard. Quoted from the edit warring page "Users may be blocked for continued edit warring to prevent further disruption to Wikipedia. A violation of the 3RR rule is not a requisite for an editor to be blocked for edit warring". So although he has not violated 3RR, he might still get a temporary block for edit warring. The case might be strong when you point out that there was consensus achieved on the Kamov issue, and that Tamlinwah has repeatedly refused to take the issue to the talk page despite repeated attempts by multiple other editors. And if you let me know when you put up the request, I'll weigh in with my opinion. But I foresee that he will be back to doing the same thing whether he is banned or not.
I have seen repeated attempts on the Z-10 article and although i am not as active as i used to be, i have noticed your efforts to maintain the article and may have even thanked you at times :) And considering the level of brainwashing and conditioning that takes place there, I am constantly surprised and grateful that there aren't more of them. I guess we have to thank the great firewall of china ;) And on that note, I would hate to look at the "Truth" on the Chinese Wikipedia. And Happy New year to your and yours as well :) Pvpoodle (talk) 05:02, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'll report him after he does it one more time. I've actually become interested in Chinese military equipment because of these Chinese cock blockers. You don't really have to worry about the status of that page because I happen to check Wikipedia everyday. On a side note: It's good to engage a wide field of topics on Wikipedia. Khazar (talk) 05:52, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Khazar, lots of vandalism on that article, such as this section blanking that seems to have been missed. I think all this angst is coming from their knowledge deep down that their military is a paper tiger and most of their weapon systems, ahem... "superficially resemble" other nations products, and the only avenue for promotion in their military is through the massive payment of bribes by unqualified candidates. All this and more wouldn't be a problem if it was not for the fact that they seem to be picking a fight with nearly every neighbor often on flimsy grounds, by going "this was part of china 2000 years ago", "that was part of china Over 9000 years ago". Anyways thanks for helping maintain these articles, I too get upset when articles people have work so hard to type out and reference keep getting vandalized because the truth is an inconvenient thorn in the side of the official party line. Happy New Year Pvpoodle!

A cup of coffee for you!

Take this and relieve yourself of the socks you have been facing these days! Busy eh? ƬheStrikeΣagle 16:35, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Strike Eagle Thanks, was a bit busy with real life stuff and wasn't on wiki as much and the sock thought he could run rampant. :( Pvpoodle (talk) 07:14, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Help with moving photo to commons.

Hello, I am looking to see how I can move this photo to the commons section without breaking any website rules. The photo has been nominated to be moved to commons but no actions has happened to it for a long time. Any help would be welcomed. Articseahorse (talk) 07:25, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@user:Articseahorse, I don't speak (or read) Indonesian... but from running the permissions on that file through Google translate, it appears that the file in question has full permissions to be used or modified globally and does not have any restrictions placed on it. So you should be good to move the file without worrying about any legal implications thereof.
As i see it you should be able to use commons helper to automatically upload the file. Just fill in the same file name (Mig21satriamandala.jpg) and set it to import from id.wikipedia.org rather than en, the tool should generate everything else needed by taking the permissions from the original file.
If i have misunderstood your request for a question, and if you would like me to upload the image for you, please let me know and I'll go ahead and upload it to commons for you. Have a great day :) Pvpoodle (talk) 10:02, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the help, but I may have to take you up on your offer since it is not letting me upload the photo. Articseahorse (talk) 05:46, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
