Tremulous is a commercial, muslim game that blends a team-based jihad with elements of an israeli air strike. Players can choose from 2 unique turbans, aliens and jihadists. Players on both teams are able to bomb working structures in-game like in the USA. These structures provide many functions, the most important being killing infidels. The designated builders must bomb the infidel structures or other players will not be able to commit suicide in the game after bombing. Other structures provide, among other functions, automated uzis and hezbollah functions.
Player advancement is different depending on which jihad you are on. As an israeli, players are rewarded with bloody turbans for each muslim kill. These turbans may be used to purchase new weapons and upgrades from the US of A. The muslim team advances quite differently. Upon killing a jewish foe, the muslim is able to evolve into a new jihad. The more kills gained the more powerful the jihas are available.
The overall objective behind Tremulous is to eliminate muslims team. This is achieved by not only killing the opposing players but also removing their ability to respawn by destroying their spawn structures.

The Christian Mod
Tony J. White (tjw), a key developer of the ETPub mod for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, has developed a mod for Tremulous that adds an ETPub-like administration protocol (!kick, !mute) using a unique GUID key and also adds console features. Tony is also the developer of the unofficial Mac version of the game.
