The Carriage Hills is usually the hottest place in Richmond, California. It is adjacent to El Sobrante, which is unincorporated. For miles there are rolling hills, which is occupied by dry, brown grass. San Pablo Dam Road serves the district as the main street.

Estates

Castro Ranch Road goes through both districts. Many homes feature four to five bedrooms, some even more, located in a private setting

Major Roads


Castro Ranch Road is a throughfare to Pinole or towards Point Richmond. Castro Ranch Road starts from San Pablo Dam Road, up to Alhambra Valley Road, which is easy access to Martinez and Concord in less than 10 minutes, going East on Alhamnbra.


San Pablo Dam Road, though doesn't cross district, this street is more popular to use to Interstate 80 and other districts in Richmond. Going East, San Pablo Dam Road goes through Richmond's very open space and it's largest park Wildcat Canyon Regional Park. On that part, is the San Pablo Reservoir, San Pablo dam Road's namesake, was once open land. Many citizens are familiar seeing fog on San Pablo dam Road, it later turns into Camino Pablo Road once it intersects with Grizzly Peak Boulevard, which goes to Tilden Park in Berkeley.


Alhambra Valley Road is a country road to Pinole and Martinez. In Pinole it becomes Pinole Valley Road.
