Ahmed Khan is an Indian choreographer, producer, actor, director and writer. Khan began as a child actor playing small roles in films like Raakh. He played an orphan boy in his debut film, Mr. India and worked as choreographer's assistant in Anjaam. He choreographed for films such as Rangeela, Taal, Ghajini and Kick. He was a judge of Dance India Dance Lil Master season 3.[1] Khan made his directorial debut with the 2004 film Lakeer – Forbidden Lines starring John Abraham. In 2007, he released Fool n Final, a comedy with Sunny Deol and Shahid Kapoor. He produced and wrote the script for Paathshaala in 2010. Khan is scheduled to appear in the upcoming sequel to Mr. India, Mr. India 2.[1]
Personal life
He is a childhood friend of actor Shahid Kapoor who he has choreographed and directed in many films. He is married to a former Model, Shaira Khan , who was also Miss Bombay back then. But she chose Love over her Modelling career and got married to Ahmed Khan , after dating him not for more than six years. Ahmed Khan proves it over and over that he loves his wife, Shaira too much.So much so that, at the recent Filmfare award fucntion, where he won the best choreography award for jumme ki raat (kick), he dedicated the award to her, saying he dedicates the award to his newly married gorgeous and beautiful wife, shaira khan. It goes the same for Screen awards and many more awards this year. his words remain unchanged for the love of his love. He started a production house for his wife, Paperdoll production where he wrote the script of Paatshala movie, Directed and produced it Under the banner of Paperdoll Production for his wife. Ek Paheli Leela is again a Paperdoll production, Releasing on the 10th Of April, 2015.
Ahmed khan lives in his luxurious flat in Andheri with his wife Shaira Khan and their very Handsome and Talented two sons, Azaan and Subhaan.[2]
He is an alumnus of the The Bishop's School (Pune).
Khan has escaped from death narrowly twice: once he filmed a movie at the Twin Towers only two days before the September 11 attacks; the second time he canceled his reservations at the last minute at a hotel that was destroyed in the 2004 Tsunami.[3]
