Benítez partnered compatriot Soledad Esperón to victory in the late September 2007 Juarez $25,000 ITF event. Her best singles performance was reaching the semi-finals of the $50,000 Vittel event in July 2005, despite losing in qualifying (but gaining entry as a 'lucky loser').
