Seren Bundy-Davies (born 30 December 1994) is a British track and field sprinter who competes in the 400 metres. She came to international prominence in 2015 when she was the leading European indoors at the distance. She proceeded to win two medals, a bronze in the 400 metres and a silver in 4 x 400 metres relay, in the 2015 European Athletics Indoor Championships.[1]

Early years and breakthrough

She was born to Welsh parents and competes internationally for Wales. She grew up in Greater Manchester and is a member of Trafford Athletic Club. She broke through at national level in 2014, placing fourth at the British Athletics Championships. She was the Welsh senior champion that year and improved her personal best to 52.50 seconds.

At the Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix at the start of 2015 she ran a personal best of 51.72 seconds to win the race. This run took Bundy-Davies top of the European Indoor rankings, and despite a fall in the British Athletics Indoor Championships, she was selected to represent Great Britain for the first time at the 2015 European Athletics Indoor Championships were she won two medals.[2]
