SIPphone is a company providing Voice over IP telephone and directory services via the Gizmo Project soft phone. Their service is based on the SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and compatible with other SIP-based phones from companies like FWD, IPtel, and Iaxtel. SIPphone was started by MP3.com and Linspire founder Michael Robertson.
