Compass Bancshares Nasdaq: CBSS is a publicly held company based in Birmingham, Alabama. Compass Bank is a subsidiary of Compass Bancshares, Inc., a Southwestern financial holding company with $30.1 billion in assets and 385 full-service banking offices in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, New Mexico, and Texas. Compass Bancshares, one of the nation's 30 largest banks, is a member of the S&P 500 Index and the Dow Jones Select Dividend Index.
