191st Street is a station on the New York City Subway's IRT Broadway-Seventh Avenue Line. Located at the intersection of St. Nicholas Avenue and 191st Street, it currently served by the Template:NYCS 1 train.
At approximately 160 feet (50 m) below street level, 191st St is the deepest station in the New York City Subway. The section of the line through the station opened on March 12 1906, but the elevators and other work had not yet been completed, and the station did not open to the public for another five years.
