Prof. Dr. Dr. Hans-Jürgen Appelrath (Born in July 1952 in Duisburg) is a Computer Science and Information Technology professor in University of Oldenburg since 1987.

Awards

  • 2004: Fellow of the German Society for Computer Science (Gesellschaft für Informatik)
  • 2005: "Bull of Oldenburg 2005", Award given by the city of Oldenburg for extraordinary achievements in science, industry and major contribution to city's economy.

  • 2007: Honorary Doctor of Carl Friedrich Gauss Faculty of the Technical University of Braunschweig
