I am Lord of Mirkwood -- a history buff, Lord of the Rings nerd, strong political liberal (although I will do my utmost not to interfere with Wikipedia's neutrality policy), a strong beginner in learning French, a straight white male (I'm confessing that now) and someone dedicated to making Wikipedia the best and most erudite source it can be.

Region of origin within the aforementioned country: New England, although the winter sometimes makes me want to move to Key West. But New England summers are ALWAYS worth it.
