Gerard Moll, called Gerrit Moll (1785–1838) was a Dutch scientist and mathematician.

From a family background in Amsterdam of commerce, Moll was drawn towards science. In 1812 he was appointed professor of mathematics and astronomy at Utrecht Observatory. He died of typhoid on 17 January 1838.[1]
