Kamal Narain Singh (born December 13, 1926) was the 22nd Chief Justice of India. He was educated at L.R.L.A. High School in Sirsa, Allahabad, Ewing Christian College in Allahabad and is a graduate of the University of Allahabad.

As a lawyer he practiced civil, constitutional and taxation law since 1957. His first judicial appointment was as Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court in 1970 and Permanent Judge in 1972. He joined the Supreme Court in 1986 and served as Chief Justice of India from November 25, 1991 until December 12, 1991. He honored with “Proud Past Alumni" in the list of 42 members, from "Allahabad University Alumni Association", Allahabad University registered under society act 1860 with registration no. 407/2000.[1][2][3]
