Qudsaya District

Qudsaya District (Template:Lang-ar) is a Syrian mintaqah (district) administratively belonging to Rif Dimashq (Damascus Countryside) governorate and located west of Damascus city and Mount Qasioun. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 105,974 people. The town of Qudsaya is the administrative centre of the district.

Until 2009, Qudsaya was a sub-district within Markaz Rif Dimashq District. In February 2009, the district of Qudsaya was formed, combining the former sub-district of Qudsaya with two sub-districts from the Zabadani District.^[1]

The district of Qudsaya is divided into three sub-districts or Nāḥiyas (population according to 2004 official census):

Qudsaya Nahiyah (ناحية قدسيا): population 64,412^[2]
Ain al-Fijah Nahiyah (ناحية عين الفيجة): population 19,584^[3]
Al-Dimas Nahiyah (ناحية الديماس): population 21,978^[4]
