Sekolah Victory Plus [1] is an independent co-educational IB World School [2] in South Jakarta, Indonesia.


History

Sekolah Victory Plus

Sekolah Victory Plus, established in 1998[3] , was the first school with International standards in Bekasi.Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page). It has also been appointed as a Centre of Cambridge International Examination (CIE), a member of the Association of National and Private Schools Indonesia (ANPS) and Montessori Association.

SVP offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities to our students so they can develop their creativity such as in music, and performing arts. They are also given the opportunity to perform and display their work at art exhibitions. Sport also plays an important part of the curriculum which enables our students to take part in competitions, team games and enjoy a great healthy life.

Their graduates have gone on to continue their studies to all corners of the globe, attending some of the very best universities in the USA, Australia, UK, Europe and Asia. There are Victory Plus alumni at Berkley University, The University of Wollonggong, Nanyang Technological University, Edinburgh University, Universitas Diponegoro, Institute Technology of 10 November, Universitas Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Universitas Padjajaran (Unpad), The University of Southern California and The New York School of Design.

The integration of a wide range of educational programmes means that SVP graduates embody IB global principles and thrive in our ever-changing world.

Curriculum

SVP is authorised to offer the IB Primary Years Programme for students aged 3–11 and then the IB Middle Years Programme These programmes are taught in English and open for all students in the school.[1] Starting in Grade 11 students undertake a 2 year programme to prepare for the AS and A level examinations in Grade 11 and Grade 12 which focuses on preparation for university education, by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), which is the world largest provider of international education programmes and qualifications for 5–19 year olds.
