Brick Dudley Smith (born May 2, 1959, in Charlotte, North Carolina) is a former Major League Baseball first baseman. He is an alumnus of Wake Forest University.

Drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 5th round of the 1981 Major League Baseball Draft, Smith made his major league debut with the Mariners on September 13, 1987, and appeared in his final game during on April 23, 1988.

Post Baseball

Brick Smith now teaches 7th grade U.S. history at Providence Day School.[1] He says that he misses baseball and is one of the head choaches at Providence Day School in Charlotte North Carolina. He love his students
