The Mayweather-Pacquiao non-fight is a quintessential piece of modern boxing history. Since 2009 it has been far and away the fight every fan wanted to see. If made it would have/could be the richest fight in boxing history, according to any source. Its inability to be made represents one of the biggest weaknesses in the sport of boxing today. Mayweather-Pacquiao is central to the sport of boxing and deserves to have a page. I will be improving the article in dribs and drabs. 03:39, 2 July 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sjack80 (talkcontribs)

Flags

I have removed the flags from the infobox. Per specific manual of style guidelines, flags in infoboxes are a distraction and give undue prominence to nationality over other information. The exception to this would be where the sports person represents a country. I do not believe this to be the case generally with boxers, with the exceptions of Olympics. In this particular case, neither boxers are representing their country and their nationality is irrelevant. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 18:09, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

time?

How does this gigantic page not have the TIME of the fight anywhere? Absurd. 71.174.13.110 (talk) 13:24, 2 May 2015 (UTC) Ok, you can barely see it in the tiny poster that is included at the top of the article: 6:00 PM U.S. Pacific 71.174.13.110 (talk) 13:27, 2 May 2015 (UTC) Ok, supposedly that time is meaningless also: I guess it is standard in boxing that there is no rigid start-time and it could start as late as 8:00 PM U.S. Pacific. 71.174.13.110 (talk) 13:31, 2 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

hello, "By 2015 negotiations for fight had been finalized" this line should read "By 2015 negotiations for the fight had been finalized"
for the fight instead of fight :) thanks 80.192.85.232 (talk) 22:34, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
