My Wikipedia Philosophies
User:Karmafist/wikiphilosophies inspired me to document mine.
- transparent honesty, public accountability (i.e. Wikipedia:Accountability) to the point of whistleblowing, enforcement via negative punishment, checks and balances
- add to existing works instead of creating new ones
- have fun for oneself; do what one believes in; believe in your product/work
- experience teaches; it's about the journey not destination
- feel, don't overthink; don't think too much
- don't do things for the sake of "the system"; procedure is not the end goal; never lose hope
- be a good human being, regardless of affiliation/bias/systems
- nearly always prefer open standards (open systems, open source, etc.), non-proprietary anything
- "Don't_Be_Evil"
