Welcome, Jewish Internet Defense Force etc.
Hi, Welcome to Wikipedia, I'll include a standard introductory message below which contains some useful links. But first a couple of non-standardised comments.
First, please be aware that the JIDF and their figurehead "David Appletree" are quite touchy. I notice that an unregistered account, presumably "Appletree", has already reverted your edits. If you continue to make edits to the page that he does not like, then you can expect to be added to the JIDF list of so-called anti-Israel editors (actually anti-JIDF self-promotion on Wikipedia ones). When they originally added me, they said I was probably not Jewish, or if I was I was definitely self-hating. Expect similar nonsense to be created about you if you court the enmity of 21st Century Kahanist man.
More generally, I see that you are editing a number of articles related to the Arab-Israeli dispute. Wikipedia has a policy WP:NPOV which says that we should try to reflect the balance of perspectives in reputable published sources. However there is inevitably plenty of disagreement on these matters. There is a WP:Project WP:IPCOLL which intends to foster an atmosphere where editors can discuss issues in a way that does not lead to administrators having to take action against them. Some members have taken various conduct pledges related to the project. If you are in a major content dispute with other editors regarding the Israeli-Palestinian dispute, I recommend you take issues to the relevantproject page to seek other views.
There are other wikiprojects which cover the ares, namely WP:Israel, WP:Palestine and WP:MILHIST. The first two inevitably tend to attract editors who tend to lean towards one side or the other in the dispute, the last obviously contains peoplewho aremore interested in documenting the military side of things.
Any welcome. I suggest you follow some of the links in the welcome message below. Editors in content disputes are prone to quoting policy at each other, sometimes in a misleading manner. If you can familiarise yourself with some of the linked material incer the Five Pillars, you'll have a chance of knowing what they are going on about.--Peter cohen (talk) 21:30, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
