Kanyakubja Brahmins are a Brahmin community found in Northern India, including the state of Uttar Pradesh. The word Kanyakubja means Brahmins of the Kannauj region. Kannauj region was spread to border of Vidisha in ancient times. Other sub-group of Kanyakubja is the Saryupareen Brahmin.[1] }
