Spice Dream Uno is a phone co-developed by Google as its Android One initiative, the runs the Android operating system. The initiative was started by Google to provide an affordable yet feature-rich smartphone for developing nations, India being the first.The initiative is headed by Sundar Pichai.The phone was first being available to buy online at Flipkart then after few months it became available to buy at Amazon ,Saholic and Snapdeal.The phone shares same features as Micromax Canvas A1 but the design is slightly different, as the user found that the phone's back is made up of plastic coated with rubber so it doesn't feel cheap to touch.

It features a 1700 mAh Li-Poly battery. Spice Dream Uno has a 4.5-inch screen with 480x854 resolution (218 PPI) IPS LCD display, and includes a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with [autofocus] and a 2.4-megapixel front-facing camera. This phone follows FCC SAR standard. It was launched with android 4.4.4 (KitKat) out of the box and it get Android 5.1Android lollipop through OTA , it was the first among all OEMS in India to launch android 5.1.
