John Ernest Douglas Delavalette Browne (born 17 October 1938) is a British politician.

Browne was Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Winchester from 1979 to 1992. In that year's general election, he decided to stand as an Independent Conservative candidate in Winchester after he was deselected by the Conservative Party after being suspended from the House of Commons for failing to declare his business interests. He finished fourth behind the new official Conservative candidate, receiving less than 5% of the vote.

Browne subsequently joined the UK Independence Party and has stood unsuccessfully as a parliamentary candidate in Falmouth and Camborne and North Devon.
