The Loud House is an upcoming American animated television series created by Chris Savino for Nickelodeon. The show follows the adventures of a boy who lives in a house with ten sisters.

The show is slated to premiere in January 2016.[1]

Premise

The Loud House centers on 11-year-old Lincoln Loud, who gives the viewers an inside look at what it takes to survive the bedlam of living in a large household, especially as the only boy in a house with ten sisters.

Production

The Loud House was created by Chris Savino for Nickelodeon. Savino based the series on his own experiences growing up in a large family. He pitched the idea to Nickelodeon in 2013 as a 2½-minute short for their annual Animated Shorts Program. In June 2014, Nickelodeon announced that The Loud House had been picked up for a 13-episode season, making it the second series to be born out of the shorts program after Breadwinners.
