Revert on 'St. Leon'

Hi there, I have written the plot summary sections for all but the first of Godwin's novels and am now editing them down on the advice of The Banner (editor). Is it possible we can revert back to my shorter version? I think The Banner is right and these are too long. Many thanks.User:Pineapple271

Edit on page 'Christadelphians'

Hi I'm enquiring about your recent edit on this aforementioned page specifically your revert in the introduction. This material, although sourced, was removed due to it being inappropriate for the introduction of this article as it is discussed later in a more appropriate section. A section in the talk page on this has now been started highlighting the issues of the content you reverted. Would you be able to constructively engage in this discussion on the talk page in this section now that you have republished this material? Many thanks Lintonna (talk) 17:39, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Edit on 4 May 2015

Sorry, I was trying to remove vandalism of a biography of a living person. Sorry for not leaving a summary. I'm not trying to cause any trouble. (Man, I am messing up.)--Magnus Puer (sermo) 22:47, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

Edit summaries can be helpful. I'm not entirely clear how removing the subject's entire sourced professional record amounts to removing vandalism though. IronGargoyle (talk) 21:51, 6 May 2015 (UTC)

Edit on 4 May 2015

I made that edit precisely because IT was not neutral. Did you look at the comment I left along with my change? If you seek neutrality, then you have to welcome the opinion on wiki of EVERY person who disagrees with the film (wouldn't that be tiresome and pointless). I have no problem with people having a political difference with a film, but I do not believe that this one was A. founded in reality, or B. unbiased. The section was not neutral and was representing a trivial disagreement made by politicized parties who do not wish to see ANY slight upon their opinions or people. If you accept that section, you must just as well accept the cries of people who claim The Avengers is anti-Scandinavian, or Independence Day promotes anti-immigration policies (those are stretches to make my point). There has to be a standard of quality and/or level of relevance to make edits to wiki articles. I do not believe the comments from a small group of pro-Israel lobbyists (I am very supportive of Israel, this is not a religious or political thing for me) meets the criteria for objective or relevant/important. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.225.111.74 (talk) 02:35, 5 May 2015 (UTC)

The criticism section was sourced to reliable sources. The tone of the article didn't endorse that criticism, it simply stated that the criticism was there. IronGargoyle (talk) 21:46, 6 May 2015 (UTC)

Edit on 8 May 2015

I'm really sorry I removed the Gatwick-Reno/Tahoe service as it has been scrapped due to problems with the facilities at Reno Airport. No one has ever queried my editing before so I did not realise I had to provide a source when removing something. I'm glad you pointed it out though! I do a lot of editing on airport pages to give up to date passenger statistics (Luton, Manchester, Edinburgh) and add new air routes that have been announced (sorry, bit of self-promo!). I would be more than happy if you could point out mistakes that I might make in the future to make my editing better. Thanks, Rhys

I have added the link in the edit summary but here it is anyway: http://www.rgj.com/story/money/business/2015/05/07/nonstop-flights-reno-london-scrapped/70932738/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by AviationRhys (talkcontribs) 16:31, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Time for another block?

Hi. I saw that you just warned User:24.123.85.110 about unconstructive editing and also noticed that after you blocked this editor for 31 hours on 1/30/15, he or she was again blocked on 2/7/15 and, after that block expired, was subsequently warned 4 more times about vandalizing before your most recent warning. Time for another block? Contributor321 (talk) 19:45, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Given the gap in time and the type of IP, I suspect it is a different editor. IronGargoyle (talk) 20:50, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

Wrongful Edit From Me? (My IP)
I did not make any edit from this IP, i rarely log in to Wikipedia because i forget that I have an account and i am so expediently perusing that i just overlook it .... I'm sorry if someone wrongfully updated an article but i assure you it wasn't i. Devilchickx53 (talk) 07:48, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

idont know how to send messages on here.

Regarding moving my edit.My family was the one who owned the land that Barth stole it from. They were Sephardic Jewish people who received a land grant bY Queen Isabella. We stumbled upon this article today. It is totally incorrect. The Barth brothers were bullies and wanted my Great Great Great Grandfathers land and almost killed him for it. There is no citation on Wikipedia from where the false information that Barth won enough winnings in a poker game to purchase that land, so I am not sure why my edit is being removed. I'm sorry but one person isn't going to win enough winnings in a poker game to buy 2000 acres of land. That isn't even comprehensible.

It is common knowledge that Mormons stole large portions of land during their settling. My family's land was attempted to be stolen using "Adverse posession" In court 10 years prior but the person trying to steal it at that time lost in court.

When we take them to court for this, and you continue to hold this slander on your webpage of how our land was obtained (STOLEN). I will attempt to sue your page as well. You are supporting anti-semitism and stealing of the Jewish people's land/property.

Edit on Lisa del Gicondo

Hi there,IronGargoyle.Sorry,I'm so new to this thing.I would like to discuss the edit you made on the Lisa del Giocondo biography.I apologize I did not leave a source. But I would greatly appreicate you not taking down the section I wrote, please.Thank you.I got information of a YouTube geographical channel which I will leave. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Irishy Gigs (talkcontribs) 21:17, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

Please review Wikipedia's guideline of identifying reliable sources. A YouTube geographical channel doesn't sound like a reliable source to me. IronGargoyle (talk) 21:22, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

Is this vandalism?

NEVERMIND, the image was't vandalism. My computer must have been having problems which caused a vaulted ceiling image to show up instead of correct image. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.216.165.65 (talk) 15:27, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

It actually was vandalism. I fixed it. The problem was at Wikimedia Commons. IronGargoyle (talk) 18:28, 17 May 2015 (UTC)

Dear, I expect you to correct any grammar mistakes but not to undo changes. Are you well familiar with Quranic verses? I stated clearly that some Muslims refer to Quran about this in particular but you totally neglected pretending Quran didn't mention. I hope to have a good excuse. --Almuhammedi (talk) 10:42, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
