The Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts is a private career college specializing in singing, dancing and acting. It is located in Toronto, Ontario on the southwest corner of Lennox Street and Bathurst Street (toronto). It is located at the intersection of Lennox and Bathurst a former church building that is also home to the historic landmark Bathurst Street Theatre and the adjoining Annex Theatre.

History

The school is located in the former Bathurst Street United Church which was constructed in 1888 and features a cornerstone laid by the first Prime Minister of Canada, Sir John A. Macdonald.

The school was founded in 1992 by George C. Randolph Jr., who is the current President. George Randolph is a former principal dancer with the Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble and with Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal.

Current artistic director is Darlene Spencer, who succeeded the former artistic director Ron Singer in 2009 upon his retirement. Ron Singer had joined the Academy in 1993.

It offers professional training in their branded Triple Threat skills of dancing, singing, and acting for the stage and screen. All coursework takes place in English.

Students are auditioned from across Canada, and internationally.
