Chang is a thai beer brewed by a joint-venture of Carlsberg and TCC Group of Thailand.

Chang means elephant in thai language, thus two elephants are depicted on the label of the bottle. It's kind of a thai version of the Carlsberg Elephant beer.

The joint-venture started in 1991 to brew Carlsberg beer in Thailand, and in 1994 the Chang brand was created. It managed to win 70% of market share in Thailand after a hard market fight with the previously biggest brand Singha.
