The Seattle Mist are a team in the Legends Football League (formerly the Lingerie Football League, part of the Lingerie Bowl's expansion into a full-fledged league in 2009). They play their home games at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington.[1]

League play

2009-2010 season

For the 2009-2010 season, each LFL team played the other four teams in its division once. Two of the games were at home and two were on the road. The Mist went 3-1 in the regular season, but failed to make it to the playoffs.

2010-2011 season

The 2010-2011 LFL season had the same schedule format as the 2009-2010 season. All games aired on MTV2.[2] The Mist went 0-3 in the season and the last game against the Dallas Desire was cancelled due to inclement weather.[3]

2011-2012 season

The Mist signed Angela Rypien, the daughter of former Washington Redskins quarterback Mark Rypien, as their starting quarterback in the 2011 season. She debuted against the Green Bay Chill on September 30, 2011.[6] To date the Seattle Mist have won two games and lost two.

2013 season

The Mist have only one game scheduled for the 2012 fall season, a matchup against LFL Canada's BC Angels. The game will be hosted at the ShoWare Center on December 15. The LFL shifted the U.S. season to a spring schedule to accommodate the LFL Canada season. The Mist's regular season starts April 6, 2013 when they host the Green Bay Chill. Seattle also hosts the Minnesota Valkryie and has road games in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
