Upsaaru, also known as Uppesaru, a kind of sambar in South India mainly in Karnataka state.[1] Its very easy to make and very healthy. It is a traditional food of South Karnataka. Upsaaru does not want oil. It is very old sambar which is commonly collaborated with Raagi mudde.,[2][3]
