Kronberger 61.jpg
Description: Image of the Kronberger 61 planetary nebula.
URL: http://www.gemini.edu/images/pio/press_release/2011/pr2011-7/fig1.jpg
License: {{Non-free fair use}}
Link To License Information: Don't know
Author/Copyright Holder's Name: Gemini Observatory
Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload: To be used on the Kronberger 61 article. Image should be cropped and scaled down, full rationale:
- No free image of this planetary nebula exists, and there is no expectation that one will over become available.
- This image is used in a manner that does not replace the purpose of the original.
- This image has been scaled down and cropped to focus on the subject in question.
- This image has been published before outside Wikipedia.
- This image is used in an encyclopedic manner to represent the subject in question.
- This image complies with the image use policy.
- This image is used in the Kronberger 61 article infobox, with separate rationales for each article in question.
- This image will be used as primary means to identify the subject in question, and its removal would be detrimental to readers' understanding of the article topic.
- This image will only be used in the article namespace.
- This image has a description which identifies the author/copyright holder and source, has an appropriate non-free copyright tag and identifies each article this image is used in as well as a rationale for each use.

- Comment: From the Kronberger 61 article:
The nebula is within a relatively small area which is currently being monitored by NASA’s Kepler planet finding mission and the light of the nebula is primarily due to the emissions from doubly-ionized oxygen.
- You'll have to excuse my ignorance in this topic area, but I'll need clarification about something to upload this image as fair use. If NASA has a planet-finding mission monitoring this area, how is the following valid in your fair use rationale: "No free image of this planetary nebula exists, and there is no expectation that one will over become available"? NASA's images are Public Domain ({{PD-USGov-NASA}}). How can we say that there is no expectation that NASA will produce a free image? --Nick—Contact/Contribs 05:01, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
- OK, then:
- No free image of this planetary nebula exists yet.
Now upload. --189.106.232.100 (talk) 18:53, 8 September 2015 (UTC)

- Hello, and thank you for your request. As this is a "free" file and you are registered, please login to the Wikimedia Commons (using your Wikipedia username and password) and upload the file there. If you have any problems uploading the file to the Commons please reply back here. Regards. Please note: This image will only be retained on Commons (per their project scope) if it has encyclopedic value. Your user page has been deleted for being overly promotional. If you intend to create a userpage which complies with our guidelines, in that it discusses yourself in the context of Wikipedia, then the image would be safe to upload and use in that capacity. However, using it on advertisement-like pages which are subsequently deleted would probably lead to the image being deleted as well. Nick—Contact/Contribs 16:06, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
