Kartik Aaryan is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films.

Kartik was approached by director Luv Ranjan, who had discovered him on the social networking site Facebook.[1]

Kartik made his acting debut in 2011, with Luv Ranjan's romantic comedy Pyaar Ka Punchnama.[2] He portrayed the role of Rajat (Rajjo). The film opened to mixed reviews from critics;[3] however Kartik's performance was generally well received. Kartik's four-minute monologue—about the behaviour of women—in the film [4] is considered as the lengthiest long take scene done for a Hindi film.[5]

Kartik's next release was Luv Ranjan's romantic comedy Akaash Vani[6]

In 2014, Kartik appeared in the Subhash Ghai film Kaanchi: The Unbreakable. The appearance of Kartik can be seen in Pyar Ka Punchnama 2, the sequel of 2011 hit Pyar Ka Punchnama.[7][8] The film received mixed to negative reviews.[9][10][11][12]
