In "Bogie Nights," Jerri befriends the new student, Ricky, whom the students and staff of Flatpoint High hate because he's new. But, she discovers the secret that will keep them apart forever.

Trivia
- This is the first script by an outside writer, being Thomas Lennon. It was heavily edited and rewritten by Stephen Colbert, Paul Dinello, and Amy Sedaris, however. It was directed by Peter Lauer.
Did You Notice?!
- The two men being beaten up by Spike Jabber just before Jerri runs him over with the golf cart are Chuck Noblet and Geoffrey Jellineck, though there is never a clear shot of their faces.
- Jerri's old tooth, which she left with Ricky (and apparently forgot about for fifteen years), resurfaces in the final episode, The Last Temptation of Blank, though it is not pointed out.
